Tia Clyburn is a staff writer who focuses on digital content and covers the Springfield area's local businesses and entertainment. She graduated from Wright State University with a bachelor's degree in Media Studies, and a certificate in Digital Media and Writing. Prior to being officially hired as digital content producer at the Springfield News-Sun, Clyburn was an intern at Dayton Daily News as a contributing writer. She also held a position at Wright State's New Media Incubator as a senior intern, specializing in video production, video and audio editing, social media management, and voice talent for informational videos. Being what she calls a "double minority," as she is of both Black and Asian descent, she hopes to also uplift marginalized voices through her work.
